Infectious
Disease
Staffing, Studies and Success
IHC's
clinical staff of researchers is comprised of experts in many
different therapeutic areas, including Vascular and Infectious
Disease. Our clinical researchers are from top Pharmaceutical
and CRO organizations providing the highest quality study management,
monitoring and data management services.
Some Examples
of Infectious Disease Studies:
- Candidiasis
- multiple trials (Phase
II - IV) involving numerous anti-fungal drugs, including
the Gyne-Lotrimin® switch.
- Duodenal
Ulcers - studies involving H. pylori assessment.
- Chlamydia
Trachomatis, Helicobacter Pylori
and Clostridium Difficile - studies
involving a new class of antimicrobial
agents for the treatment and
eradication of these pathogens.
IHC is responsible for all project
management, monitoring, data
input, analysis, and cleaning;
as well as all regulatory management
for three (3) major clinical
programs for a new class of antimicrobial
agents. This agent targets and
inhibits the transcriptional
machinery of bacteria. Its development
will open up new treatments for
severe infections by not only
managing the treatment, but also
eradicating the bacteria inhibiting
future re-infections.

Along
with our clinical expertise, IHC
has supported a number of successful
programs using electronic data
capture (EDC) technology. We have
helped our clients take the
necessary steps
to become EDC compliant companies
and have supported over five (5)
EDC research programs.
These studies range from small pilot
trials to the largest Acute Coronary
Syndrome trial
conducted (14,000 patients) to-date..
